Here are some great tips to think about when shopping for school supplies!
(1) Make sure to check out your states tax free days if there are any.
(2) Check Ebay and Craigs List for used text books and other things like calculators.
(3) Check ALL the store ads each week and compare prices. Each store is not the same
and you may find one thing cheaper at one store and another some place else.
Take time to plan it out.
(4) Hand down older children's items that are still good. Items like pencil cases,
folders and notebooks that never got used.
(5) Clean out pen and pencil drawers and send them to school. Free!
(6) Ask stores if they price match. This might keep you driving around to just a few stores and not 4 or 5.
(7) If crayons are $.25, buy several boxes so you won't have to pay more during the year when you need replacements.
